It’s amazing how much she’s grown. I never understood how my friends with kids told me how fast time flies before I had kids myself. It’s AMAZING how fast it goes! Aubrey is one, Sydney will be three, and they’re growing so quick. We’re heading off to Disneyland for a few days next week to celebrate. I’m looking forward to seeing the world through my girls’ eyes. It will be MARVELOUS! We continue to see some major developments in class action cases. A recent case was just thrown out. It centers on a product that was recalled. Most people may think it’s a slam dunk case to sue a company that recalled a product. That’s actually rarely the case. If the company does a good job recalling the product, reimburses everyone (or almost everyone) who requests a refund, than there’s not much of a case since the company did their due diligence in refunding customers money. If they don’t refund the money, or issue the proper repairs, there may be a case filed against them. Remember, people typically have to show financial damage of some sort to file a class action lawsuit. If they choose not to ask for a refund and a company is giving them out to everyone who asks than they’ll have a hard time. Check out the Aqua Dots Product Recall Class Action Lawsuit that was thrown out. Autozone managers from around the country continue tochime in on the unpaid wages and hours class action lawsuit. It seems that working long hours and allegedly not getting paid for it wasn’t just a Manager or Assistant Manager thing. It’s great that people stick together. We feel each other’s pain that’s for sure! One last case note. Sirius Satellite Radio just settled theBlessing vs SiriusXM for $180 million. This will get some claimants a month’s worth of service free and allow others to reconnect for free. We’ll see how people like it! Leave a comment and let us know what you think!
